ELISE ROBERTSON plays DORIS, a strangely beautiful, insightful and sensitive woman struggling to balance fantasies, imagination, and very real extrasensory experiences with a dysfunctional family.
Elise has appeared in GOOD HUMOR MAN and Soderbergh’s EROS along with televisions shows FLASH FORWARD, SIX FEET UNDER, GILMORE GIRLS, TWO AND A HALF MEN, GREY’S ANATOMY and numerous commercials. She has performed on stage in THE THREE SISTERS, BETRAYAL, OURSELVES ALONE, THE SEAGULL, and OLEANNA and Elise is an EMMY and CINE-GOLDEN EAGLE winning director and writer of television and stage, and her company is in currently in development on DONNER PASS, a feature which she will direct and produce.

JAIME GOMEZ plays FELIX, a lean, mean, way-too-angry broadcast news journalist who infiltrates Doris' "cult" and receives the surprise of his life when she channels the voice of his murdered daughter.
Jaime has appeared in such notable films as CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER, CRIMSON TIDE, and TRAINING DAY. Jaimewas seen for five seasons as Inspector Cortez on the CBS hit series NASH BRIDGES. He’s recently completed the first two season premiere episodes of the the hit Fox drama 24. He wrote and directed the feature IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE, the music documentary IT’S ALL IN THE SONG, and the short LIVE WITH IT, and has two screenplays slated for production CALEXICO, and EMPTY HANDS.

ULA GOMEZ plays TALLULAH, a geeky teen in blue jeans with ratty split ends and boyish freckles who has been abandoned by her mother on Doris' doorstep and is drawn to any warmth the world has to offer.
Ula is an aspiring artist and the daughter of Jaime Gomez who became the sparkling surprise of her father’s feature directing debut, IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE. Just getting started in her performing career, she’s not quite sure which of her many talents to pursue, and while young and passionate about all the arts, she sings, she acts, and can’t be stopped. She loves working with all kinds of material and all kinds of people, and can’t wait for another chance to do something as unusual as the DORIS film.

BRIAN OBLAK plays TOM, Doris' hubby, a big teddy bear who loves Tallulah maybe a bit too much and is home-bound on disability developing a hobby drinking and driving Doris and the family to ruin.
Brian comes from a Cleveland Ohio family where sports dominated his youth and he received a football scholarship at Kent State. His first audition for stage landed him Agatha Christie's MURDER AT THE VICARAGE, and his second HEAVEN CAN WAIT. Brian’s film debut was GRID IRON GANG, followed by PROM NIGHT, REPO MEN, and POPPIES; ODYSSEY OF AN OPIUM EATER. His TV roles inclue a recurring role on CSI:NY, DAYS OF OUR LIVES, DRIVE, EYES, LIE TO ME, and THE MENTALIST.

DONNA PIERONI plays FLO, a frumpy busybody who sneers at everyone out of jealous rivalry for Doris' powers and popularity - and proves to be her Judas as well.
DONNA recently received rave critical reviews from the press in the role of Mrs. Lovett in SWEENEY TODD at the Chandler Studio Theatre, and has performed in 200 TV, feature films, plays and national comm’ls, including popular hit series WEEDS, COLD CASE, CSI:NY, and MEDIUM. Donna's accomplishments range from Tim Burton’s EDWARD SCISSORHANDS to having Ben Affleck rub her feet in a public service announcement for voting. She’s worked with the best of the best including Will Smith and Harrison Ford.

AMEENAH KAPLAN plays SERENA, Flo's sidekick never without her Holy Bible who has no thoughts of her own, and happily fills her head with scripture and town gossip in equal proportions.
AMEENAH attended NYU Tisch School of the Arts and is a drummer of 20+ years, serving as drum coach for BLUEMAN GROUP and is Musical Director of THE ZODIAC SHOW. Theater credits include STOMP, THE TEMPEST, HAMLET, and PEER GYNT, with TV credits including HEROES, MEDIUM, COLD CASE, VERONICA MARS, and many comm’ls. As choreographer, Ameenah was recipient of the NAACP Best Choreography Award and Best Fight Choreography & Original Score awards from the LA Weekly Awards.
BRYNN HORROCKS plays NATALIE, a Berkeley grad student writing her doctorate on cults. She wears punk tatt on her shoulder and embodies all the childish misunderstanding of the New-Age generation.
Brynn first performed at the Playmill Theater in West Yellowstone, Montana in a desire for adventurous life outside native rural Washington State. Recent work includes a recurring role as Abigail Whitman on Emmy winner MAD MEN and appearances on E.R., The 'L' Word, Criminal Minds, and the TV movie WORKING MIRACLES. Past work includes THE OH IN OHIO starring Parker Posey, THE POLITICS OF FUR (best feature Outfest 2002), and ROCK-AND-ROLL HIGH SCHOOL FOREVER.

NICHOLAS DOWNS plays MIKE, a cousin of Doris' who leads a group of UFO believers expecting E.T's will assist the survivors of our doomed planet - and turns out to be partially correct!
Nick has appeared in the feature films PEARL HARBOR, THE GIRL NEXT DOOR, CONSTANTINE, THE HOLIDAY, 16 TO LIFE, THE AWAKENING OF SPRING, and the cult hit ORION SLAVE GIRLS MUST DIE!!! (on iTunes). His TV credits including COLD CASE, and BOSTON PUBLIC. Nicholas has also been just finished shooting lead roles in the feature films, IS IT JUST ME?
He is also set to work on the feature film, POPCORN CEILING.

CYNTHIA DANE plays MARILEE, a hot little redhead evangelical on the run with her dying ex-pastor Dr. Apperson. Her religion and rapture is sex, and her politics is the $100,000 cash Apperson carries in his overnight bag.
Cynthia began acting at age 10 in the Cranbrook Conservatory Program, studied at Wayne State University, and worked nonstop in Chicago theatre developing original plays and winning the hearts of Windy City critics. She performed with Marlo Thomas in the Chicago premiere of SIX DEGREES OF SEPARATION and her theatre career has spanned over 35 original and established plays. Feature credits include DETERRENCE, KEEP ME IN YOUR HEART and SOULMATES.

CHRISTIAN VOLTAIRE MEOLI plays APPERSON, a mysterious man of dangerous intensity who is not only running from God, church, and the law, but himself as well - towards the woman he believes has been sent to save him.
Chris is an actor/writer/producer who recently received national press for his "Octomom! the Musical" He's had major roles in the films LOOKING FOR JIMMY directed by Julie Delpy, PERSONS UNKNOWN with Naomi Watts, THE LOW LIFE opposite Rory Cochrane and Ron Livingston and made his screen debut in ALIVE directed by Frank Marshall. Since then, Chris has guest-starred on over fifty episodic television shows recently on DOLLHOUSE, ELI STONE, LIFE, COLD CASE, WITHOUT A TRACE, EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS and for four seasons played the role of Boz Bishop opposite Cheech Marin and Don Johnson on NASH BRIDGES.

RICCO ROSS plays BAUER, a veteran television news cameraman and right-hand-man to Felix's wheeling and dealing, struggling to keep the both of them out of trouble with their station manager despite constant misbehavior.
Ricco is a father, actor, and activist and was born in Chicago with five brothers and sisters, schooled in Florida and received his MFA from UCLA. After recurring roies on Hill St. Blues and The Young and the Restless, he auditioned for the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Arts and studied Shakespeare, staying 13 years abroad in France, Italy and Germany doing modeling, acting, and voiceover. His impressive resume includes Aliens, Mission Impossible, E.R. The Practice, JAG, and much more.
